Guided Radar for Solids
The SITRANS LG260 is a guided microwave radar available in various versions. It is particularly well-suited for level measurement in all types of dry solids, even under challenging conditions that would be difficult for a traditional, non-contact radar, such as:
- Dust formation
- Condensation
- Media buildup on the sensor
- Changes in media density
- Changes in process pressure and temperature
LG260 can measure up to 60 m and is suitable for materials such as grain, plastic, coal, fly ash, and cement. It can handle temperatures between -40...+200 °C and up to 40 bar.
Particularly useful in the cement, power, food, mineral, and mining industries.
