The Echomax XPS transducer is a level meter that can be fully submerged, is resistant to steam and corrosive chemicals, and can be installed without flanges. The XPS series offers versions for different measuring ranges up to 30 m (100 ft) and up to a maximum temperature of 95°C (203°F). During operation, the Echomax transducer emits acoustic pulses in a narrow beam. It measures the travel time between the pulse emission and its reflection (echo) to calculate the distance.
XPS can be used for wet wells, channels, weirs, and filtration basins.
Siemens Echomax transducers are easy to install and require little to no maintenance. They handle dust, moisture, vibrations, flooding, and high temperatures without any issues. For dirty applications, the ultrasonic transducers have self-cleaning surfaces that literally shake off dirt and buildup, providing the reliable performance you need.
