Guided Radar for Liquids and Interfaces Under Extreme Conditions
The SITRANS LG270 is a guided microwave radar available in various versions. It is particularly well-suited for continuous level or interface measurement in liquids, even under challenging conditions that would be difficult for a traditional non-contact radar, such as:
- Foam formation
- Steam and condensation
- Media buildup on the sensor
- Changes in media density
- Turbulent media surfaces
- Changes in process pressure and temperature
LG270 can measure up to 60 m and is suitable for aggressive media in tanks and vessels with agitators, vapors, high temperature and pressure, and low dielectric constant. It can handle temperatures between -196...+450 °C and pressures up to 400 bar.
Particularly suitable for use in the chemical, petrochemical, power, and general industries.
